Thank
You
Rain
at night, the smell of spring.
Flying
a kite, a hot summers breeze.
I
look around, I look above.
Troubles
surround, but these things I love.
A
hug from my son, a kiss from my girl.
Life
abounds, now that they're in my world.
The
smell of flowers, Sean's green eyes.
I
can stare for hours, time after time.
The
sight of a willow, it's strength and it's size.
Although
the leaves hang low, although it looks like it cries.
When
I feel, I haven't a sun.
These
things are real, in my life make me carry on.
So
thank you God, for the blessings you give.
The
strength, a want, a reason to live.
